Oceanfront views were stunning from our room. Parking is very tight and challenging to navigate. Nice pool area and convenient beach access. Loved the happy hour specials. Breakfast options could improve a bit.

I had a fantastic time strolling around the beach just a few steps away and enjoying the nearby parks like Fornari Park just over 500 meters down the road and River Walk, which was almost 2 km away, providing peaceful walking paths and lovely scenery;

Breakfast is tasty and varies each morning. Staff is friendly and you can enjoy an ocean view from every balcony.
Beach access is a hike down the street.

We had a nice breakfast with many choices like waffles and eggs every morning the free breakfast was great for kids and the hotel was beachfront with easy access to a playground area plus Eric helped us move rooms when our view was blocked

Breakfast was a highlight, especially on the first two days with plenty of delicious options, but the last day was a letdown with cold food and a long coffee wait. The views from our king room were stunning, even if we weren't oceanfront, and the staff were attentive, bringing us extra towels promptly. the lack of beach access was frustrating, and my husband's wheelchair limitations made navigating the pool area difficult, especially with a broken elevator. Parking was also a hassle for our group. Despite some inconveniences, the overall experience was pleasant, and we left feeling relaxed.

The oceanfront views are amazing, especially from the higher floors. Parking spots are very tight, so be careful with larger vehicles. Breakfast has a great variety, but I found the elevators slow during peak times. Enjoyed happy hour at the bar with affordable drinks after a long day on the beach.

The room was spacious and clean, featuring a comfortable king bed that provided a good night's sleep. Temperature control was adequate, allowing us to adjust to our preference easily. Noise levels were minimal, creating a peaceful atmosphere. we encountered some issues, like a broken shower door and an empty shower gel dispenser. While the TV remote didn’t work initially, maintenance addressed that promptly. Views from the fourth floor were lovely, overlooking the beach and pool area. the room had modern decor and was pleasant but could benefit from better maintenance.

The room had everything we needed, including a fridge and a great seating area. Air conditioning was a plus, and the balcony offered a nice view. Staff was always friendly. Loved the beach location and the fitness centre. Breakfast was tasty with varied options each day. Super convenient!

The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was a feast—think bacon, eggs, and ocean views while you eat! Plus, our room was spotless and had an amazing view of the beach!

Showed confirmation to front desk only to be told they were fully booked. Communication breakdown, a significant misstep on their part. On a brighter note, the breakfast was exceptional. Bacon, eggs, and coffee with a view made mornings enjoyable. Staff, especially Venus and Garfield, were incredibly accommodating. the room left much to be desired. Dust, stains, and a malfunctioning bathroom door raised concerns about cleanliness. Encountered rude staff when addressing issues. For $350 a night, expectations were not met. Would explore other options next time. A solid breakfast and friendly staff can't overshadow fundamental service failures.

Had a fantastic weekend getaway with my partner, celebrating our anniversary with stunning beach views from our room and exceptional service from the staff. The friendly and attentive employees, like Nicola and the Chef, made our stay special. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and felt well taken care of during our entire stay.
Our experience was tainted by the presence of marijuana smokers outside the non-smoking hotel, causing discomfort. Additionally, issues like a leaky front entrance, lack of AC on the first floor, and subpar amenities took away from the overall experience.

The breakfast was delightful, with daily variety and delicious options. The breathtaking oceanview from the balcony was a definite highlight. The hotel's prime location right on the beach was convenient, with easy access to nearby amenities.
Waiting for the elevator was a hassle due to the limited availability of only one. The gym's lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable, as the fan didn't help cool down the 80-degree space.

the pool and beach access were closed for repairs post-hurricane, and the linens in our room had an unpleasant odor, which affected our experience. Staff's attentiveness could be improved for a better overall visit.

Staying at the Hyatt by the Ocean was like hitting the family jackpot in Daytona Beach! The kids had a blast at the pool and the beach just a hop, skip, and a jump away. The complimentary breakfast buffet made mornings a breeze with all our favorites right there!
My wife says that a children's play area would have been a great addition.

Perfect spot for hitting the beach and chillin' with friends. Room was legit and breakfast was clutch. Definitely felt like a high roller in a top spot. We hit the waves all day and partied all night!
Wish there was a rad rooftop party area to hang with friends after beach time. Just imagine, loud tunes, cool drinks, and epic views to soak in the Daytona vibe.

the breakfast was quite good, and the location of the hotel was convenient. We appreciated the efforts of the staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable amenities, and the room was spacious enough for our group of five. there were some notable drawbacks. The hotel itself felt outdated and in need of a refresh. The rooms had a musty smell, and some areas showed signs of wear and tear. It was disappointing to find out that the hotel did not accept cash upon checkout after being told otherwise during check-in. issues like bed bugs in the original room and lack of cleanliness in the second room were concerning. the closure of the pool and beach access, coupled with the presence of marijuana users, impacted our overall experience negatively. The lack of proper maintenance, such as broken AC and bathroom amenities, added to our frustrations. The customer service could have been friendlier and more attentive to guest needs.

Stay close to all the fun at the Pier, Marine Center, and waterpark. The lobby is a fab place to chill. Love the pool on the beach. Café serves great Starbucks.
Oh joy, no shower gel, dirty laundry room, and a broken elevator. Great choice!

Our stay at this beachfront gem was simply fabulous. The pool area was a hit, with the perfect temperature to cool off from the hot sun. The pristine beach was a delight, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The spacious room on the top floor provided a breathtaking view of the ocean from our balcony. The cherry on top was enjoying a cup of Starbucks coffee before starting our day. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation spot.
The lackluster attitude of most staff members, except for one exceptional individual who truly cared about our experience. Additionally, parking proved to be a challenge, especially for those with larger vehicles.

the hotel was spotless - from the lobby to the room. it's in a prime location right by the beach and close to the city. we discovered some amazing local breakfast spots. the staff were phenomenal - especially their effort to get our room ready amidst a busy period.

the front desk staff was always welcoming, making check-in and check-out super easy. we loved the delicious breakfast, especially the waffles and sausage. our oceanfront room on the 10th floor was spacious, clean, and offered stunning views. the hotel's quiet and cozy atmosphere was perfect, and the staff made us feel like family. the pool was well-maintained, and the close proximity to the beach was a bonus. we also appreciated the option to have food delivered to our room. it was a great getaway spot.

The location right by the ocean was perfect for bringing my dog and enjoying the view from the private balcony. The staff was friendly and the free parking was a nice surprise. The breakfasts were delicious and the bar had tasty pineapple Jell-O shots.
